About Med Zeppelin

We are Med Zeppelin: a mobile clinic with a goal to bring fundamental healthcare to those who need it most, promote a sense of care within our communities, and bring equitable healthcare to all.

While working with homebound Texans, the need for more consistent healthcare for the rural, elderly and disenfranchised was evident. With the determination to help those who cannot always make it to the doctor, Med Zeppelin was formed.

Med Zeppelin is an accredited 501c3 Organization.

Why a mobile clinic?

Roughly 20% of Texans in the Austin metro area are uninsured.  Many of these residents have great difficulty getting access to basic primary, dental and preventative health care.

A lack of insurance means a lack of regular, preventative healthcare options. Additionally, the 15-20% of Medicare and Medicaid recipients have limited options for preventative healthcare and chronic condition management.

Rural populations are a healthcare desert: Limited office options, limited convenient healthcare choices, and limited healthcare professionals willing to service that area.

To promote and ensure those with barriers to healthcare receive access to a healthcare provider and to support them at their residence of choice.
